Wolfgang Tomböck jun., Schüler von Josef Veleba, Sohn des früheren Solohornisten Wolfgang Tomböck sen., ist seit 1.1.1978 Mitglied des Staatsopernorchesters, Philharmoniker seit 1982. Solohornist der Wr.Philharmoniker.

Er studierte bei Josef Veleba.

Lars Michael Stransky, solo horn with the Vienna Philharmonic since 1993, picture taken 1998 in Banff - clickon the picture for Strauss op.11 beginning (recorded with VPO DGG 453 483-2) - The Huebler Concerto for 4 horns arr. with Wind Band (CAMERATA 30CM-540 recorded.1998), he was born in Trier 1966, studied with Erich Penzel, became solo horn with the Berlin Radio Symphony 1985 for one year, solo horn with the German Opera on the Rhine (Duisburg) 1986-93. He studied Viennese Horn with Roland Berger 1991-93. His partners for the Huebler were Sebastian Mayr (*1970), member of the stage band of the Vienna State Opera since 1997, Thomas Joebstl (*1978 see below), Hannes Ramser (*1970), horn player with the N.Oe.Tonkuenstler Orchestra since 1991.

Lars Michael Stransky, studierte Wiener Horn bei Roland Berger, Solohornist der Wiener Philharmoniker seit 1993 , wechselte vom Doppelhorn zum einfachen F Horn zurück. Bild aufgenommen in Banff 1988. Ronald Janezic, studied with Friedrich Gabler (Vienna Music University) & Willibald Janezic, member of the State Opera Orch. since Jan.1st, 1990, member of the VPO since July 1st, 1992, solo horn since 1992 He is the elder son of philharmonic 2nd horn Willibald Janezic, who teaches at the Vienna Music University-

Ronald Janezic, studierte bei  Friedrich Gabler (Wiener Musikuniversität) & Willibald Janezic, Mitglied des Staatsopernorchesters ab 1.1.1990, Vollmitglied der Wr.Philh. ab 1.7.1992, Solohornist seit 1992. Er ist der ältere Sohn des philharmonischen Hornisten Willibald Janezic, der auch an der Wiener Musikuniversität unterrichtet.

Thomas Jöbstl, born 1978 in Carinthia Province, began his studies with Roland Berger at age 14, was solohorn in the Volksoper in Vienna at age 19, 2nd horn of the State Opera since 2001 but allready playing solohorn for the New Year Concert 2003 with the Philharmonic & on the recent (2003) USA tour
