Concerto ex D Horn & Pno - Both come with score(harpsichord) & parts. Johann Georg Knechtel might have been the composer of these two lovely but very high concertos. He was high hornist besides Hampl at the Dresden Hofkapelle between 1736 & 1754. Both concertos reach up to the 24rth harmonic (written g'''). The concerto in D might be played with the open horn in D, while he tried to use some manipulated notes in the second movement of the concerto ex Dis (E-flat).

Concerto N.2 (detto Horn & Pno.) this second concerto by Foerster is nicer than the first concerto (Janetzky), specially in the second movement. The solopart ranges up to the concert g''. It is playable on the open baroque horn.- The concertos by Knechtel, Molter & Foerster have been recorded for the Austrian Radio by H.Pizka.
